Roger Federer will face
Andy Murray at the Center Court. This will be Federer's record-breaker eighth Wimbledon final. If he wins at
Wimbledon this year, he will set 2 more records in his already impressive career.
Defeating Andy Murray will put Federer in the No. 1 ranking spot, tied with Pete Sampras’ record of 286 weeks as the No. 1 player in the world. A victory would also allow him to tie another Pete Sampras record, the most Wimbledon titles won by a single player.
On the other hand, the Wimbledon wins record is held by William Renshaw, dating back to the 1880s. Federer has only lost one time in the Wimbledon Finals and that loss came at the hands of Rafael Nadal during a 9-7 fifth set back in 2008.
