President Obama wins his Second Term

President Barack Obama has just won his second term as what Fox News projects. The president handily defeated Republican nominee, Gov. Mitt Romney after a historically expensive race. Obama's win in the crucial Ohio State which includes victories in Iowa and Oregon, has put him over the required 270 electoral votes.

Consequently, minutes before Obama was projected the winner, Romney has claimed his first major win of the night with a projected victory in North Carolina. While Obama triumphed earlier with a winning streak in key cities like Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Wisconsin and Michigan. Florida and Virginia are still too close to call. On the other hand, the House will still be majority Republican, with Democrats maintaining their majority in the Senate.

The Obama victory would likely mark an end to a year-long campaign that saw historic advertisement spending levels with countless rallies and speeches, and three much-watched debates. This will also be the last time his name will appear in the ballot, or so he claims.
